Our Story
Why I created The Hidden Palette
Hidden Palette has always been one of those things that’s quietly sat at the heart of the studio… and recently, I found myself wanting to open it up a bit more.
Originally, it was very much rooted in painting and drawing — which I love — but I kept noticing that what people really wanted wasn’t just to paint a picture… it was to make things that actually lived in their world.
Things with purpose. Things with personality.
So I started rethinking it.
What if this wasn’t just a painting class?
What if it became a space where you could create anything for your home… and for your life?
That’s where the shift into Art & Home came from.
Because creativity doesn’t just belong on a canvas.
It’s in:
an abstract piece for your office,
a cushion you’ve made for your child’s room,
a piece of furniture you’ve brought back to life,
something small and handmade that ends up meaning more than anything you could have bought.
I love that kind of creativity — the kind that becomes part of your everyday.
So now, Hidden Palette is much more open.
Yes, there’s still painting and drawing at its core… but alongside that, we explore everything from upcycling and ceramics to sewing and making home accessories, and all those little ideas you’ve had in your head but never quite made time for.
And I wanted it to feel realistic too.
Life is busy. People can’t always commit to showing up every single week.
So I changed the structure — you book four sessions, and you’ve got eight weeks to use them. You can dip in and out, skip a week if you need to, and then come back without feeling like you’ve fallen behind.
It’s meant to fit around real life, not fight against it.
I suppose, really…
Hidden Palette has become less about learning art and more about making space for it.
And that’s the part I love most
